Despite not hearing of any new details about Final Fantasy 7 Remake for a long time, reportedly the game’s development is going well and Square Enix is still planning the next time it will showcase the title to the public.
As reported by Gematsu, Tetsuya Nomura gave an update to Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s development in the latest issue of Famitsu. Nomura has stated that “production is going well” and that Square Enix is trying to figure out the next time to issue a press release.
Development is moving along better than expected and they are trying to preserve the atmosphere of the original game. The game will also go deeper with the characters including those who are the members of Avalanche.
Sadly there’s still no release window for the game so we will just have to wait and see when it eventually comes out. Hopefully some more fresh news is revealed about the game by the end of 2018 at least.
