If you loved the old Sega game Crazy Taxi, you may want to go and pick up Forza Horizon 4 when it releases on PC and Xbox One later this year. This is because the game will add taxi type missions for the first time in the franchise’s history.
Destrutoid has reported that Playground Games showed a behind closed doors presentation of Forza Horizon 4 at E3 last week. The game’s art director, Benjamin Penrose, confirmed there will be special types of taxi missions that you can do in the new game.
He said: “For example, one of them you’ll have a chance to own a taxi company. However, driving a taxi in the real-world is very different from the sort of action in Horizon games, so you can kind of imagine how that ends up. There are a whole bunch of different things like that. There’s one where you’ll also be able to be a stunt driver“.
The taxi missions will be a part of a new feature in the game called ‘Horizon Stories’. They are small narrative based objectives that you can do. There will be other types of missions outside of just being a taxi driver so look out for more announcements in the near future.
Forza Horizon 4 will be released on October 2nd, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The game will also be available for you to play via Xbox Game Pass on launch day.
