It looks like 2K Games is about to be adding even more new animations to the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game that will be released later this year. More motion capture work is being shot this weekend featuring an independent wrestler that some fans might recognize.
As first spotted by PowerUpGaming, independent wrestler Santana Garrett admitted on her Twitter account that she is working on a video game this weekend. She is most definitely doing mo-cap for WWE 2K19 as 2K Games usually likes to recruit indie wrestlers to do the animations.
She posted the following on Twitter: “Sunday 5/6/18 California to film for a video game #WomensWrestling #LadyWarrior #WorldTraveler #SantanaGarrett.”
People may know Santana Garrett because she briefly appeared in the WWE last year in the Mae Young Classic tournament. If you watch Impact Wrestling, you may know her better by the stage name of Brittany. 2K’s studio is in California so there might be other wrestlers doing mo-cap for WWE 2K19 this weekend too!
