Nier: Automata developed by PlatinumGames was one of the best action games released in 2017. The game sold extremely well on PS4 and PC last year thanks to its fast style of gameplay and excellent visual presentation. Despite being made by a third party developer, the game sadly was only released on PC and PS4.
Well a new rumor might change that because Nier: Automata could finally get released for the Xbox One console sometime later this year. This could be awesome for Xbox gamers since a lot of Japanese developed games don’t head on over to the Xbox One.
This new piece of news was reported by respected French gaming website JeuxVideo. According to the site’s sources, an Xbox One port for the game is currently in development. Not to mention Xbox Head, Phil Spencer, has been saying in the last couple of weeks and months that he wishes more Japanese games come out on the Xbox One.
JeuxVideo contacted Square Enix to report on the story, but Square Enix chose not to comment. This could be a sign that the rumor is true because if it was false, Square Enix would have easily denied it. Hopefully we can get an official confirmation at E3 2018 happening next month.
