Xbox Game Pass is a great bargain allowing gamers to play full priced games for just a monthly fee. Although the service is cheap, it looks like the price of the service will be increasing later this year for those living in European countries.
The price increase was noticed by an Xbox One gamer on Reddit. The user lives in Europe and was messaged by Microsoft that there will be a price increase for Xbox Game Pass starting on June 1st, 2018. You can read the full message down below.
“As of June 1, 2018, the monthly subscription fee for Xbox Game Pass is increasing to address changing market conditions. You will be charged this new price unless you choose to cancel your subscription before the next scheduled payment found in your account page.”
It then asks for you to visit the Support Xbox website in order to find out more information. As of right now, it seems this might just be occurring in some countries over in Europe. It does not look like the price will be increased on a worldwide basis just yet.
