Nintendo Reveals Cloud Saves And More For Its Paid Online Switch Service

Nintendo has finally revealed the first details of what its Switch paid online service will entail. One of the best features of the online service is that you can finally back up your save data via the cloud.

Nintendo revealed all of the details on its official website. Aside from Cloud Saves, you can also play some of the classic NES games. You can see the details posted down below.

  • Online Play: Battle it out or cooperate with players around the world in compatible games like Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis Aces, and Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido.
  • Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online: Enjoy 20 NES games with added online play for the first time ever, and more games added regularly.
  • Save Data Cloud Backup: Save your data online for easy access. Details about this feature will be available before the paid service launches in September.
  • Nintendo Switch Online app: Enhance your online experience for compatible games with this smartphone app.
  • Special Offers: Stay tuned for news on special deals and offers for members.

Individual prices include 1 month at $3.99 USD, 3 months at $7.99 USD and 12 months for $19.99 USD. You can also get a Family Membership for $34.99 USD. The memberships can be purchased via the Nintendo eShop.
