Even though Soulcalibur VI has already been announced, Bandai Namco has been pretty quiet in terms of a proper release date for the game. Well a recent leak from an online retailer may have spilled the beans on the exact release date for the game.
As reported by Screen Rant, Amazon Italy briefly put up on its website a release date of September 27th, 2018 for Soulcalibur VI. It’s possible this is a worldwide release date since it falls on a Thursday. The leak was pulled because the listing now has a generic placeholder date of December 31st, 2018.
The fact that the listing of the release date was pulled so early could be a sign that the leak is true. It’s worth mentioning Amazon Italy has predicted release dates in the past correctly as it listed God of War previously for an April 20th release date which was true.
If Soulcalibur VI’s September release date is true, it’s going to have to compete with some competition. September is stacked this year because the month will also see the releases of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy too!
