Sony has finally announced the long awaited release date for the exclusive Spider-Man PS4 video game. Not only that, but the pre-order bonuses and special editions were also all revealed earlier today.
As announced on the PlayStation Blog, the official release date for Spider-Man PS4 is September 7th, 2018. This is a decent date since it avoids the October releases dates of both Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 just to name a few.
It is also worth mentioning that the game is 100 percent exclusive to the PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles. The game is NOT a timed exclusive so you will not be seeing the game getting released on PC, Switch or Xbox One in the future.
The game will also have exclusive extra costumes for you to unlock when you pre-order. All of the suits have not been revealed yet, but three extra costumes will be coming your way.
Lastly, both Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of the game will also be available for you to purchase. The Digital Deluxe Edition costs US $79.99/CDN $99.99 and comes with extra DLC missions as well as a physical pin for customers living in the United States and Canada.
The Collector’s Edition is much more expensive costing US $149.99/CDN $199.99 and it comes with more physical goodies. You get the extra DLC missions, a White Spider Sticker, a Spider-Man Statue, Custom Steelbook and also a mini artbook.
