Watch Dogs 3 has not been announced yet, but there is some evidence that the game is currently in development. An official Ubisoft app may have accidentally leaked that the game is in the works.
As reported by TheNerdMag, Ubisoft’s official smartphone assistant app named Sam may have spilled the beans early on Watch Dogs 3 during a conversation with a customer recently.
The app posted the following: “Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the early build I tried it’s very solid. The Dev Team works wonders! Can’t wait for you to try it!”
If this app is to be believed, we could see the third Watch Dogs get revealed at E3 2018. The first Watch Dogs game came out in 2014 while the sequel came out two years later in late 2016. It’s possible we could see another Watch Dogs get released later this year because Ubisoft is not releasing a new Assassin’s Creed game in 2018.
Speaking of Assassin’s Creed, the app did not reveal anymore information about that franchise. We might hear more from the AC franchise in 2019 instead since 2018 is supposed to be a break for the series.
