Bigben Interactive and Breakpoint have announced the official release date for its Tennis World Tour video game that is serving up later this year. Aside from a release date, the covers for the have been shown giving us a first glimpse of the launch roster of the game.
Tennis World Tour is releasing on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on May 22nd, 2018. This is more platforms than AO Tennis which is only available on PS4 and Xbox One right now. Speaking of AO Tennis, the game is still only out in Australia and New Zealand. Speaking of tennis, Mario Tennis Aces is coming out later this year too on Nintendo Switch on June 22nd, 2018.
Anyway, Tennis World Tour also has multiple different covers depending where you live in the world. Some of the players included in the game are “Roger Federer, Angelique Kerber, Gael Monfils, Nick Kyrgios, Alexander Zverev, Stan Wawrinka, David Goffin, John Isner, Lucas Pouille, Richard Gasquet, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Taylor Fritz, Michael Mmoh, Frances Tiafoe, Fabio Fognini, Roberto Bautista Agut, Elias Ymer, Kyle Edmund, Grigor Dimitrov, Dominic Thiem , Hyeon Chung, Karen Khachanov, Milos Raonic, Jeremy Chardy, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Caroline Wozniacki, Madison Keys, Eugenie Bouchard and Garbiñe Muguruza“.
Tennis World Tour has far more real life players compared to AO Tennis, although some big names are still missing. This includes Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Maria Sharapova and The Williams Sisters. Anyway, it’s possible DLC can be added in the future. You can look at the new screenshots posted below.
