Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be out soon and work is underway for the other parts of the game. Today, we now have confirmation on some of the composers that are going to work on the soundtrack for the full game.
Tetsuya Nomura confirmed during an interview with Famitsu that both Takeharu Ishimoto and Tsuyoshi Sekito are working on the soundtrack for Kingdom Hearts 3.
Thanks to KHInsider, we have a translation for the interview. You can read Nomura’s comments posted down below. He said: “Ishimoto-san has worked on several songs for the KINGDOM HEARTS series, and both he and Sekito-san are involved with KINGDOM HEARTS III. There are more songs than before, and we’ve reached the point where we have to ask for songs for important battles, so I hope to continue this collaboration. Even in the future, I thank you for your continued support. (laughs)”
People may know Takeharu Ishimoto as the composer on the recently released Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. The man has also been involved with lots of other Kingdom Hearts video games released in the past too.
The pair will have to compose a lot of new music since there is a reported 10 worlds for you to explore in the new game. Some movie worlds making a debut in the franchise include the likes of Toy Story, Tangled, Monsters Inc. and more.
More about the game will be revealed later this year before its release date. Hopefully Square Enix finally announces a proper release date for the game very soon as people have been waiting for it for years!
