Splatoon 2 Version 3.0 to Launch in April; Octo Expansion Revealed for the Summer

If you can’t get enough of Splatoon 2 or are excited to see the next big thing, version 3.0 will release in late April.

The update will include three new stages, Piranha Pit, Camp Triggerfish and Wahoo World, over 100 new pieces of gear and a new rank called X.

Fans can also look forward to the Octo Expansion sometime this summer. For $19.99 players can play as Agent 8, an Octoling who lost her memories, and navigate through a shady underground facility. In addition to a new story, fans can look forward to missions and those who complete it can play as an Octoling in multiplayer matches.
