The second Red Bull Gaming Sphere is soon to open its doors in London and will instantly become the largest public esports studio in the UK.
Aiming to be the new hub for gaming and esports in the UK, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere is opening its doors to the public for the first time on March 23rd for a Friday Night Brawl. This inaugural night of gaming will feature a knockout tournament where players compete for a £100 cash prize.
On top of simply chilling and playing games the studio will be hosting workshops, training sessions, public tournaments and more. From April every other Thursday the Red Bull Gaming Sphere will host Practice Quarters with the first focusing on Street Fighter V, and there will even be Dota 2 coaching sessions available with pro player Purge.
Just Push Start was fortunate enough to attend the studio on March 21st for a special event, hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Video Games Presenter Julia Hardy. We got hands on with different consoles, played on the over 100-inch wall screen, span-out on hot laps on dedicated racing simulators and even dabbled in the retro room. We can thoroughly recommend the studio for an incredible way to spend an evening gaming and with opportunities to learn from pro players coming up I’m sure it won’t be the last time we look to attend!
For those interested, Friday Night Brawl will take place every Friday night at Red Bull Gaming Sphere from 5pm-10pm. You can either sign up onsite at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere or online at www.redbull.co.uk/gamingsphere.
