To celebrate the upcoming release of the Tomb Raider movie starring Alicia Vikander, Lara Croft will be added as a limited time playable character in the mobile video game called ‘Final Fantasy Brave Exvius’ later this month.
This is the first time Lara Croft will be featured in any Final Fantasy video game. Too bad she won’t be added in Final Fantasy XV as a playable skin, but this is cool nonetheless. You can read more from the official description from the press release below.
“From March 9 through March 22, all players will be able to add Lara Croft from the action-adventure video game, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris to their roster. Players must complete the first event stage or collect daily login bonuses to obtain the playable heroine. The daily login bonuses will run from March 9 through March 21 and reward players with generous prizes including 10+1 Summon Ticket and Lapis.”
There will be a special Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris raid where players are able to fight the Apep boss. Several other new updates are coming to the game on March 6th as well so look out for all the bonus rewards and content.
The Final Fantasy Brave Exvius video game is free to play and is out now on Android and iOS devices. You can see a short trailer of Lara Croft in the game below. The actual Tomb Raider movie is out in North America on March 16th, 2018.
