The first gameplay footage for Ghostbusters World has now been revealed ahead of its public reveal later this week. This game is essentially very similar to the Augmented Reality concept that made Pokemon Go such a worldwide hit back in 2016.
The first footage for Ghostbusters World was revealed in a new video and the game was featured earlier today at Google’s Keynote at the Game Developers Conference 2018. Much like Pokemon Go, players will get the sense of catching ghosts in the “real world” thanks to the use of AR technology.
You will have to go out in your own neighborhood to clean the streets of scary ghosts that are roaming around everywhere. You can pretty much become a real life Ghostbuster as long as you have your trusty mobile phone with you at all times.
Aside from many ghosts familiar to those that have watched the various movies and cartoons, the game will also include some new ghosts unseen before. The game will be available later this year for both iOS and Android devices.
You can check out the first gameplay footage of the game in the video posted down below. Do you think this game has the potential to be as popular as Pokemon Go became?
