Fortnite is one of the best multiplayer games you can play and developer Epic Games is constantly releasing many updates. One of the biggest updates coming soon is that Xbox One X owners can finally play the game in full 4K resolution.
Epic Games announced all of the new updates coming to Fortnite over on its official website. Here’s a note about the graphical enhancements posted down below.
Enabled dynamic resolution and high quality temporal upsampling on PS4 and Xbox One.
- Dynamic resolution gives more consistent framerate during heavy combat and increases visual fidelity when load on the GPU is lighter.
- Full 4K Resolution now supported on Xbox One X.
The game is also going to celebrate Chinese New Year and you can dress up your heroes in new costumes. Not only will the playable characters wear Chinese inspired outfits, but weapon skins will look cooler now too. The shiny red and gold exterior looks far shinier than the default colors available. These are only available in the “Save the World” mode.
In keeping with the Chinese New Year theme, you can also see some shrines on the map that includes some treasures for you to find. This is available in Battle Royal mode which is where most players are. Battle Royale mode is also going to include a new weapon called the Impulse Grenade so you can kill targets easier.
