Vegeta Voice Actor Wants A Playable Mr. Popo In Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ just came out, although many owners of the game are already giving out their wish-lists for future playable fighters as DLC. The English voice actor for Vegeta, Christopher Sabat, has an interesting character in mind that he wants in the game.

Christopher Sabat posted on Twitter the following suggestion: “Well Mr (or Ms) System Works, I’ll have you know that DID use Yamcha in my battle and he’s in INFINITELY better character than Piccolo to play. Now if you’d make MR POPO a playable character, I’d be the happiest man alive. I’ve been begging for this since 2002.

Mr. Popo has been a character in the franchise ever since the first Dragon Ball series. He has not had a big part in recent episodes like in Dragon Ball Super, but he still remains to be a popular character. Hopefully Christopher Sabat has enough power to actually convince Bandai Namco and/or Arc System Works to put Mr. Popo in the game.

Mr. Popo is not the only character that is missing in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Android 17 only appears as an assist character, but it not playable for some odd reason. Zamasu is another assist character, but he is not playable too as well as most members of the Ginyu Force.

The game has already shipped over 2 million copies worldwide and is the fastest selling Dragon Ball video game of all time. We can be sure the game will have lots of DLC, although we may have to wait for any official announcements. The game is sure to give fans more characters from the new Dragon Ball Super series as Jiren and Toppo might be the most requested new characters to join the roster.
