Niantic has not given up on Pokemon Go just yet as the developer continues to add new Pokemon into the game at a steady rate. Well even more Pokemon will be available for you to see and catch later this month for all you Pokemon trainers out there in the world.
Niantic posted on the official Pokemon Go website that starting on February 9th, 2018, more Pokemon can be discovered in the game from the Hoenn region. This basically means you will see a lot of flying and dragon type Pokemon in the game to increase your growing collection. This will also entice those that have stopped playing the game to get off their couch and start hunting once again.
Aside from the normal new Pokemon, appearing the Legendary Pokemon named Rayquaza is also coming to the game as well. You can see Rayquaza for a limited time in Raid Battles so you will want to hurry up to see it.
Niantic also posted more info saying: “In celebration, Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region will take over wild encounters until February 13. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to catch powerful Pokémon such as Salamence, Altaria, Metagross, and more!
The Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza will be appearing in Raid Battles in Gyms near you until March 16. You’ll also have a chance to battle the Legendary Water-type Pokémon Kyogre before it swims away on February 14. Will you be the first to catch all three ancient Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region?”
Pokemon Go became a huge success when it came out back in mid 2016. Although players have stopped playing the game, there are still millions that are enjoying the game even today. The constant updates make the game last longer than just a few months.
