Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date To Be Announced At E3; New Trailer Shows Monsters Inc

Lot of great news has been revealed at D23 in Japan concerning the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. This includes when we will know a release date for the game plus a new trailer featuring an all new world.

The big news is that a definite release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 will finally be announced at E3 2018. This is a long time coming since the game was first announced back at E3 2013.

The game is still expected to be released in the year of 2018 for the PS4 and Xbox One. A December date could seem likely since every major game might want to avoid October this year thanks to Red Dead Redemption 2.

Another revelation today is that the game will get a new theme song called ‘Oath’ performed by the popular Utada Hikaru plus there will be new outfits for King and Riku.

One of the biggest reveals today is that the game will include a world set in the Monsters Inc universe. Sora, Goofy and Donald will also look like monsters when they visit this world too. There is an English sub trailer you can see below that features all new gameplay footage.

This is the second Pixar movie confirmed for the game as Toy Story was announced last year. Many more Disney movies are expected to be in the full game so expect to see more announcements and reveals later this year.

Square Enix posted the following about the new trailer it revealed: “Originally aired at Disney’s D23 Expo Japan 2018 Tokyo, this trailer reveals that Sora, Donald, and Goofy will be adventuring in the Monsters, Inc. world! Check out Sora, Donald, and Goofy’s monster forms, powerful new Keyblade attacks, and the return of past friends and foes!
