Sony has now revealed the release date for God of War PS4. It won’t be coming out in March 2018 as previously predicted, but it will out around that same ballpark.
Anyway, Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog that God of War PS4 will have a worldwide release date of April 20th, 2018 exclusively only on the PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles.
Judging by the blog post, it sounds like the April 20th, 2018 release date has been finalized for good so don’t expect to hear of a delay for the game anytime soon. The real release date is a month after its expected March release as predicted by many retailers. April is a good time to release the game mainly because it will not face stiff competition from many other AAA video games.
Along with the release date announcement, Sony also released a new story trailer allowing you to see more of the game’s plot. Much like we have seen before, the game will center around Kratos and his son and they will encounter a lot of characters and enemies in their journey.
Alongside the release date and new trailer, Sony also revealed many collector’s editions and pre-order bonuses that you can get as well. You can check out all of the editions in the pictures provided below this article. Bear in mind, all of these versions cost way more than the standard $59.99 for full price games so only consider getting them if you have extra money to spend.
If you pre-order God of War PS4 from any retailer, you get access to “three legendary shield skins“. If you pre-order at Gamestop or EB Games in North America, you will get an XP increase gain, increased Hacksilver gain and increase the ability to trigger perks.
