If you pre-ordered Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, you may have been having trouble redeeming your pre-order bonus on PS4. Well Bandai Namco has announced it is working on the issue right now and will post more details later.
Bandai Namco wrote the following statement on Facebook: “We are aware that an issue has arisen preventing the redemption of special pre-order items for the game on the PlayStation 4. Our teams are now working around the clock to solve the issue and we will provide an update to everyone once one becomes available. Thank you all once again for your patience and understanding.”
Further information was posted by a Facebook user who got information from a Bandai Namco Customer Support team member.
That post said: “We received an update from our internal contacts and we were informed that is was a mistake on the Amazon’s end and they should be sending out a code to users who pre-ordered the game through their service. However, due to issues with the PSN Store, the code voucher activation has been delayed and you won’t be able to redeem the code immediately. The codes itself are valid, so please DO NOT throw away the code once you receive it from Amazon. We should be receiving an official update shortly and we’d recommend periodically checking our support website or official Twitter page linked in our signature below as an official announcement regarding the pre-order DLC will be made there.”
If you have the game right now, keep your code as Bandai Namco is working to fix your issue. Hopefully everyone is able to redeem their pre-order bonuses. I had similar trouble last year when my PS4 pre-order code for Star Wars Battlefront 2 was not working. Thankfully, the items came a few days later.
