While we still have to wait for the PS4 and Xbox One version of AO Tennis, the mobile version of the game is out now both on Google Play and iOS.
This is the mobile version, but it’s free to play so if you have a compatible device you can easily download it whenever you want. Official description about the game is posted down below.
It says: “AO Tennis is the official game of the Australian Open. Create your own player, take them through the complete Australian Open tournament, right through to winning the trophy, or play in a quick match against the biggest names in Tennis. You can unlock all of the players registered for the 2018 Australian Open tournament and experience increasingly higher difficulty, really testing your mettle. AO Tennis controls are simple and intuitive, allowing you to swipe the screen in the direction you would like to hit the shot. The better the timing, the harder, faster, and more accurate or deft the shot.”
The size of the game is not really large as the Android version is only around 93MB in size. The game just came out on mobile devices, so more updates should come in the coming weeks if some bugs need to be fixed.
If you don’t want to mobile version, you can wait for the PS4 and Xbox One versions to come out on January 16th, 2018 in Australia and New Zealand. If you live elsewhere, you may have to wait a bit longer for the game to come out. It’s been ages since we’ve received a realistic style tennis video game and this is not the only one. Another game called Tennis World Tour is also due out later this year.
