The Game Awards organizer, Geoff Keighley, has teased that the show will showcase some brand new game worlds from two different video games.
Keighley teased this announcement during an interview he had with VentureBeat. His words make it sound like it will be something to watch out for.
He said: “At least two games are brand-new game worlds that no one has ever seen before. It becomes a sport to guess which ones they will be.”
This does not mean that it will be two games that are entirely new IPs, but they are game worlds that not many people have seen before.
Hopefully some old forgotten IPs somehow get resurrected for the new generation. Sony and Sega are just two of many publishers that have lots of old franchises lying around that are due for a new upgrade.
