Call of Duty: WWII proves to be a big success compared to last year’s release of Infinite Warfare. Sales for the new game are great over in the UK.
As reported by GFK Chart-Track, Call of Duty: WWII was easily the best selling game for the week. The game sold 57 percent better than Infinite Warfare last year. This shows us fans have been craving for a more old school setting.
Revenue for the game is also up by 21 percent too. The game is likely to stay at the top of the UK charts up until the release of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 later this month.
Elsewhere in the charts, Assassin’s Creed Origins from Ubisoft dropped to number 2. The rest of the top five included FIFA 18, Super Mario Odyssey and then Gran Turismo Sport.
