Despite being new releases, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and The Evil Within 2 both fail to overthrow FIFA 18 at the top of the UK gaming charts.
As reported by GFK Chart Track, FIFA 18 was number one this week despite sales dropping by 55 percent compared to the prior week.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War had to settle for second place. The release of the game may have scared some potential buyers due to its controversial inclusion of loot boxes.
The Evil Within 2 had to settle for the bronze position. This caused Forza Motorsport 7 to settle for fourth place.
Next week will be an even bigger time as more new releases are coming. There’s South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Gran Turismo Sport and WWE 2K18 to look forward to.
