Now that The Evil Within 2 has finally released, there are things that you get to unlock after finishing the game and one of them is the New Game Plus mode.
In the The Evil Within 2’s New Game Plus mode, players will unlock new weapons based on the difficulty you finished the game on. The amount of Green Gel and Weapon Parts you collected are increased to help players upgrade Sebastian a lot faster. Also, those who are aspiring to get all collectibles may find the last remaining files and locker keys hidden throughout Union.
In addition to New Game Plus mode, there’s this other new game mode that gets unlocked and that is the Classic mode. According to Tango, the Classic mode will have the following modifiers:
- There are no autosaves. Die and you will be returned to the title screen.
- There are a limited amount of saves. You can only save your game 7 times throughout the entire game, so you’ll need to plot your course and only save when essential.
- Sebastian will be unable to upgrade his weapons or himself. You’ll have to make it all the way to the end of the game with Sebastian’s base parameters and effectively use every weapon and item in his arsenal to survive until the very end.
