Much like many third party games, there is not going to be a version of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War for the Nintendo Switch console. This has been confirmed by one of the developers.
Gamingbolt had a chance to interview Bob Roberts who is the design director for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. They questioned him on the lack of a Nintendo Switch version at the moment.
He said: “We have no Switch plans right now. Why is that the case? I don’t know all that went into that decision“. He did not want to elaborate further on the topic. He’s not sure if it’s due to the Switch’s processing power or something else.
In all honesty, it should be due to the lack of hardware power on the Switch. The Switch is just not as powerful as the other consoles. The game itself will be out this October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
