It appears Nintendo is concentrating all of its efforts on the Nintendo Switch as Japan as stopped its production for the New Nintendo 3DS console.
As seen on the official Japanese website, it says “all production ended“. Before you get scared, they are only ending production for the normal size. The XL version of the console is here to stay.
Not to mention the company just released the New Nintendo 2DS XL console too. That console should still be alive for the foreseeable future.
For now, it looks like the company is slowly going to focus heavily on the Switch. The Switch is over-exceeding expectations to be a best seller all over the world.
