Blizzard has just announced some changes coming to the card pack opening experience in Hearthstone.
Blizzard has confirmed that “with the release of Hearthstone’s next expansion, every time you open a Legendary card in a card pack, it will be a Legendary card from that set that you don’t already own”. This change will not just apply to new packs, all Hearthstone card packs will be effected. The chance of a Legendary card is also being increased as players are guaranteed one with the first 10 packs of a set.

7 packs +2 packs = 9 packs total
15 packs +5 packs = 20 packs total
40 packs +12 packs = 52 packs total
60 packs +18 packs = 78 packs total
