Activision has finally announced that it is releasing a standalone version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. You no longer need to pay for the special versions of Infinite Warfare to get it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is heading to the PS4 console first on June 27th, 2017 for a price of $40 USD. Other platforms (PC and Xbox One) will be getting the game at a later date.
This version of the game includes the full single player campaign as well as 16 multiplayer maps. Just remember, this only includes a remake of the first Modern Warfare game. Modern Warfare 2 and 3 are not included.
It’s great to see Activision bowing down to popular opinion. This standalone release could increase sales by a lot since it’s cheaper than paying for Infinite Warfare to get it.
