It seems as if Bandai Namco knows the important of 60fps so the developer may have had to settle for 900p when playing Tekken 7 on a normal PS4 console.
This new revelation comes courtesy of Digital Foundry as they had the chance to check out the latest build for Tekken 7 prior to launch. According to them, their analysis shows that the game is running at 900p, although it has a stable 60fps.
The 900p resolution is possible for the normal PS4. It’s more than likely the PS4 Pro will be powerful enough to bump this up to 1080p and 60fps. The same can be said for the PC version too.
The fact that the game runs at 60fps should come as good news. Fighting games are fast-paced and 60fps is the best way to go. The game itself launches on June 2nd, 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
