Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty game out this year (expected to take place during WWII), is going to aim for photo realistic graphics judging by a recent job listing.
If you visit Activision’s job listings website, you can see that they are currently looking for an Associate Environment Artist. One of the responsibilities this person has to do is create “believable, photo-realistic 3D models and textures from concept art and photo reference.“.
The person also has to have the “ability to create realistic 3D props, environments and textures from concept art and photo reference.” It appears Activision and Sledgehammer want to make this year’s COD to be the best looking one yet.
This year’s COD game has now been announced yet, but it’s expected to be based on World War II. An official reveal for the game should be happening very soon.
