Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada has now been rated over by the ESRB. This is just before the game’s Western release in late May. It should feature similar content to other games in the series.
Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada is rated T for Teen. Both the PC and PS4 versions of the game were looked at. The content descriptors are as follows: “Mild Suggestive Themes, Violence”.
The rating summary says: “This is an action game in which players assume the role of the Sanada Clan through the battlefields of feudal Japan. Players use swords, spears, bows, and explosives to hack-and-slash their way through hordes of enemy soldiers in melee-style combat. Battles are frenetic and accompanied by screams of pain, colorful light effects, and slashing sounds. A handful of female characters are depicted in outfits that reveal large amounts of cleavage; their breasts occasionally jiggle during combat.”
The game is out for both the PS4 and PC platforms on May 23rd in North America and May 26th in Europe. The Japanese version of the game is already available to purchase.
