After many years in development, the official release date for Mass Effect Andromeda has now been announced. March is going to be a big month.
BioWare announced via a blog post that the release date for Mass Effect Andromeda is Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in North America and Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Europe.
BioWare says this is their most ambitious game to date as they are adding lots of new things such as characters, planets, species and more. Not to mention the game is using the powerful Frostbite engine.
They also played through a “holiday build” during the break and the feedback has been positive so far. It sounds like the game is on track so there shouldn’t be any delays to the release date at this point in time.
It’s been five years since Mass Effect 3 came out, so fans have been waiting for a very long time. It could already be an early GOTY contender.
