Before EA got a hold of the franchise, Free Radical were in the middle of making Star Wars Battlefront 3 many years ago. Sadly the game was cancelled, although footage continues to be released.
FuZaH on YouTube has released some footage of Star Wars Battlefront 3 playing on the first mission. Yes, this game would have had a single player campaign unlike the recently released game from EA and DICE.
Fuzah also explained in the description that the following footage was from an Alpha build. The main thing that needs to be fixed here is the audio. Sadly, a final build is hard to find since the game was cancelled.
It’s not all bad news as EA and DICE are to release their Star Wars Battlefront sequel in late 2017. They are promising it will have more content. People want a single player campaign as well as content from the other movies outside of the original trilogy timeline.
