No Man’s Sky has been delayed by two months as Hello Games will now be releasing the game in August.
Founder of Hello Games, Sean Murray, posted on the PlayStation Blog that No Man’s Sky will now be coming out on August 9th, 2016 in North America and August 12th, 2016 in the UK. The game will be out on PS4.
The reason for the delay is to polish up the gameplay. Murry and his team want the game to be done right which is why they are delaying the game at the last minute.
The original release date was June 21st, so be patient if you pre-ordered the game. You will now have to wait an extra few weeks before you can play it.
