Hollywood has finally found the new actress that will play Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider movie reboot. It’s a name that some people will know already.
Deadline has reported that Alicia Vikander will be cast as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider movie reboot. She is Swedish and beat out Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley who was the favorite early on.
Vikander earned an Academy Award earlier this year for her role in The Danish Girl. Other notable films include Ex Machina, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
