Due to the amount of feedback that Atari and Nvizzio received from the first beta weekend of RollerCoaster Tycoon World the development team has decided to delay the game until next year.
The team started of thanking fans of the series who, as well as pre-purchasing the new installment of the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise, provided “tons of thoughtful suggestions for improvements”. Stressing that the game is far from its final build the team has made the decision to delay the game until early 2016 to “accommodate” for the suggested improvements “and ensure that RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be the best, most innovative RCT experience to date.” The exact release date will be communicated after the second beta weekend which has be shifted back to December.
Based on gamers feedback the Atari and Nvizzio will be focusing a number of features including making it easier to “use ‘predefined piece’ coaster building, additional coaster test feedback, a robust fencing tool, improved on-demand grid, and various smaller improvements.”
