Croteam, developers of the Serious Sam FPS series, released a unique puzzle adventure on PC last December. Now, The Talos Principle will be bringing its special charm to consoles with a new release on PlayStation 4 that promises at least one more cat on the console.
The Talos Principle snuck in towards the end of last year and as a PC exclusive, slipped under the radar of many Game of the Year lists. Fans of the Portal series should easily recognize some of the quirky conventions and abstract puzzles that both games have become well known for. While the PS4 version is listed as being $10 higher ($49.99) than its PC contemporary, it’s unsure if The Talos Principle will include the upcoming Road to Gehenna expansion, currently slated for release on PC and nVidia Shield hardware “later this year”.
The Talos Principle is currently up for preorder on both Amazon and Best Buy, with a release date currently listed as August 25th, 2015 and a $49.99 price tag
