The Binding of Isaac: Real Platinum God
Beating The Binding of Isaac once was enough of a challenge for some gamers. Now imagine that, with doing it at least twice with every character just to beat the bosses at the end of Sheol/The Chest. The reward for beating many of the challenges and character endings was merely the OPTION to get those items in your game. You still had to venture deep enough into the basement to find whatever spoils Isaac and company had unlocked. One of the final characters you unlock, simply called The Lost, requires first dying to certain enemies in a specific order and fashion that proved to be a fair trouble in itself. Once he’s unlocked, playing through the game as him is even more of a test of patience since he can die in just a single hit to anything that comes his way. With the element of RNG working against you at all times, getting the Real Platinum God trophy and 100%’ing the entire game proves to be one of the hardest challenges so far this console generation.
