Announced during last night’s NISA press event in San Francisco, the localization team will be bringing the latest entry in the despair-filled Danganronpa series to North America.
Titled Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, this new title changes up some of the series conventions. For starters, Another Episode moves away from the visual novel ‘whodunit’ style of game and moves into a quirky third-person shooter style affair. Instead of controlling just one lead, you’ll be filling the shoes of two heroines: Toko Fukawa, the uniform-clad lady from the first Danganronpa with a split personality, and Komaru Naegi, little sister to the protagonist of the second Danganronpa title. Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls will be available in both North America and Europe later this Fall, exclusively on the PlayStation Vita (and PlayStation TV).
