Elder Scrolls Online getting new zones, active world PvP and more

The Elder Scrolls online QuakeCon

A lot of new stuff for the Elder Scrolls Online were shown off this week at QuakeCon 2014. For subscribers who have been playing up until now, there is a lot of new content that they can expect to be released in the near future.

Zenimax Online showed off a lot of upcoming features including video of the new zones, and a lot more. At this year’s ESO Panel, Zenimax announced that the Veteran Rank will be receiving a make over. A new justice system was also revealed at the panel.

The interesting update that they announced last night was the Active World PvP that will take place outside of Cyrodiil. According to Zenimax, the new active world PvP will allow players to murder NPCs and steal items. When a player gets caught, they can choose to pay a bounty (and lose the stolen goods) or run, exposing themselves to the guards. Players can decide to be the guard in the game and hunt down player bounties.

As for the new zones that were announced, Zenimax released new videos for the Imperial City, Murkmire, and Wrothgar. Fans can also take a quick look on the new justice system mechanics and more. No release date was announced but we can expect this content to arrive soon.
