Ubisoft and Sony mentioned at E3 Far Cry 4 owners can invite their friends to play co-op, even though they don’t own the game. We now know how it works.
If your friend owns Far Cry 4 on PS3 or PS4, you can join in a co-op game too even if you don’t own your own copy of the game. This is made possible if you download a separate app. It will be a large download since it will feature a large portion of the game, excluding the single-player campaign reports Eurogamer.
This awesome feature is exclusive only to the PS3 and PS4 versions of Far Cry 4. For those with a PC, Xbox One or Xbox 360, they will need to buy their own copy of the game.
