During last year’s E3, Microsoft revealed their Games With Gold program for the Xbox 360, providing Xbox Live Gold members with two free games a month, which ended up becoming one originally retail release game and one Xbox Live Arcade style game. We were told later in the year that the program would be coming to Xbox One sometime this year, and we finally have confirmation of when that will begin.
Starting this June, Xbox One owners with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will enjoy two free games a month, as well as plenty of discounts and other goodies. The first two games for Xbox One Games With Gold have been announced as Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.
Deals With Gold will provide plenty of deals, with the first round in June including Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza 5, and more. The virtual VIP room is also set to launch, which will provide free games, monthly deals, and other benefits.
