Super Smash Bros. Brawl introduced many new things to the franchise, including a number of brand new items. One of the biggest items was the Dragoon, which required you to collect parts before being able to take control of a cannon and fire away on your opponents. Considering its popularity, today’s announcement was not too much of a surprise.
Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that the Dragoon is making its triumphant return in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for both Wii U and 3DS.

With the collecting aspect of this item, someone like Rosalina, with the ability to pull in items, might have an advantage.
