Known most for games like the Stealth Inc. series and Thomas Was Alone, Curve Digital has maintained a library of quality titles in recent years. The publisher has been known for bringing popular PC games to PlayStation platforms, but now they have announced that they are publishing two new games on PC for the first time.
Stranded is the first new game announcement from the publisher, which will be releasing in less than two weeks through Steam. Utilizing a pixel art style, Stranded plays like classic point and click adventures as you take control of an astronaut who must explore and adventure throughout a sun-blasted wasteland of a planet. This one was actually available through the Humble Store in the past, but it is now coming to Steam. Stranded is expected to be released on May 20, so make sure to keep an eye out for it.
The second game announcement is the Kickstarter funded Spirit, which won’t be releasing until later this year. This game is also focused around exploration, but finds itself in a very different settings than Stranded, moving from space to an abandoned mountain village. Stay tuned for more details on this game as we learn more throughout the year.
