The Assassin’s Creed series continues to do well for Ubisoft as Assassin’s Creed IV sold over 11 million copies.
Assassin’s Creed IV’s sales included both retail and digital copies of the game. Ubisoft also mentioned the franchise “generates a steady and very profitable revenue stream”. A fancy way of saying the series will still be an annual series for many years to come. The company already announced Assassin’s Creed Unity due out for later this year.
Just Dance 2014 was also a good performer. That game sold well over million copies of Ubisoft.
Ubisoft will be looking forward for the upcoming releases this year. Watch Dogs is sure to be a hit and they also announced Far Cry 4 for this year too.
