Microsoft’s Xbox platform has never been all that successful in Japan, with it trailing other consoles by a large margin, but the future of the Xbox One may be looking a little brighter thanks to three new games announced by 5pb. during a NicoNico presentation this morning.
5pb. is a Japanese video game developer that has a long list of games to their credit since only 2007, so of course this is very good news to hear. The first game is actually one we’ve heard of before, known as Chaos;Child, but in the past we had no idea what platform it was coming to when it releases later this year. A teaser trailer for this one has also been released, which you can see at the bottom of this article.
The second game announcement is Mystereet F: The Detectives’ Curtain Call, a compilation of the original Mystereet, as well as the previously unfinished Mystereet 2 that has been completely reinvisioned for the Xbox One. The final game announcement is one based on the Psycho-Pass anime, which will include Kinect and SmartGlass integration as well. There is no indication on whether or not these are permanent Xbox One exclusives or just timed exclusives, so stay tuned for more on that in the future.
