Sony is now proud to announce that the PS4 is now sold over 7 million units worldwide.
The PS4 reached the 7 million sales mark as of April 6, 2014. This figure is units sold to actual customers as opposed to units shipped to retailers. That is a huge number.
PS4 software sales are now up to over 20.5 million units. This includes sales from both retail and digital stores.
Sony had projected the console’s sales would be 5 million by the end of March. Their goal was reached and exceeded by 2 million units.
