A listing for Resident Evil 4 HD on Xbox One has just appeared on Austrian game store Gameware.at. The listing contains a very general release date of “2014”, meaning we won’t be waiting long if this information is correct.
Capcom has yet to announce any plans to bring an HD remake to the new consoles, but they did just release the Ultimate HD Edition on PC in February. So whether or not we could see that version land on Xbox One, and possibly PlayStation 4, is up in the air. But if there is one game that has stood the test of time and deserves another remake for a new generation, it is definitely Resident Evil 4. We’ll keep you updated on this story as it develops.
